when I decided to post 80's kids recipes, the all time favourite kamarkat came to my mind , as its a delicious sweet during those golden days.
Also during these recent times, i would love to share it with my kids too.

Ingredients:
Ghee- 1 tsp
Cocunut- 1 cup
Jaggery - 1 cup
water- 4-5 tsp
Description:
1.Heat a pan , add ghee then Coconut, fry till
coconut turns brown.
2.Transfer the fried coconut to a plate.
3.Heat a pan add jaggery then add water till jaggery immerses
4.Boil till it dissolves completely
5.Once dissolved strain to remove impurities and transfer into a Kadai
6.Allow it to boil until bubbles appear
7.Stir continuously until syrup is thickened
8.To verify , pour a little syrup in a water and make a ball out of it
9. At this stage , add Coconut and mix well
10. Meanwhile grease ghee in a plate to transfer the Cocunut mix
11.Transfer it into a plate and rest for 3-4 mins
12.Then,transfer it to a plastic wrapper and roll it to mix evenly
13. Roll it to a ball immediately before it cools down
Kamarkat is ready to serve
