Ingredients:
Thuvaram Paruppu- 1/4 cup
Kadalai Paruppu-1/4 cup
Soambhu-1 1/2 tsp
Jeera-1 tsp
Curry leaves - Few
Coriander leaves- Few
Besan Powder/Kadalai Maavu-2 tsp
Coconut-1/2 cup shredded
Carrot- 2 or 3 grated
Garlic-6 no's
Ginger-1/4 inch
Onion-1
Steps to prepare:
1. Wash both the dhals(Thuvaram paruppu and Kadalai paruppu) with 2 red chillies for half an hour
2.Drain water and coarse grind Dhal,coconut and red chilli(Do not add water, grind evenly several times)
3.Once blended, now add garlic, ginger,onion,jeera,soambhu,curry leaves and coarse grind it.
4. Transfer the grinded mix to a bowl, add carrot, coriander leaves, besan powder and salt
5. Mix well and prepare balls from the mix.
6. Fry the balls immediately else it will turn watery.
7. Heat oil in a pan and fry the balls in medium flame until crispy/golden brown.
