Crispy Oats Cheese Balls | kids recipe ideas | Starters

Cheese Balls as the name implies is absolutely a mouth watering dish.

A perfect evening snack or party snack for the family, also Oats a healthy substitute for bread crumbs.


Do try it out and Enjoy the crispy snack for tea time!.






Ingredients:

Oats- 1 cup

Grated cheese- 1/2cup

Boiled , grated and mashed potato -1

Cheese cubes-1

Red chilli flakes-1/4 tsp

Red chilli powder-1 /4 tsp

Garam masala- 1/4 tsp

Kasturi methi-1/4 tsp

Salt to taste

Corn flour- 1/2 cup

Veggies- beans, carrot, capsicum


Steps to prepare:

1. Boil the potato . Grate it and mash it or mash it without any lumps .



2. Grind the oats into fine powder

3. Mix 3 tsp corn flour powder and keep it aside

4. Take a bowl and add mashed potatoes, veggies, onion, grated cheese , 3 tsp corn flour , add the spices ( kasturi methi, red chilli flakes , red chilli powder, Garam masala) to the bowl and mix it

5. Now roll the mixture into small balls .

6. Now pat the balls flat and place small cheese cube inside and cover it.

7 . First marination:Now roll it over the grinded/crushed oats

8. To make the cheese balls crispier, dip in the corn flour mix and roll it again in the crushed/ grinded oats

9. Now the balls are ready to be fried.

10. Heat oil in a pan and fry the balls in medium flame and fry till golden brown

11. Crispier oats cheese balls are ready to be served !
