Fish Fry with Homemade spices

Fish Fry is always a favourite recipe when flavoured with homemade spices.

Fish fry is a perfect combination with rasam.


This recipe is so simple and easy those who wanted to try crispy fish fry with the spices available at home.




Ingredients :

Fish-500 gms

Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp

Chilli powder-4 tsp

Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp

Salt - as required

Cumin powder- 1/4 tsp

Lemon juice -2 tsp


Steps to prepare:

1. Mix all the ingredients ( ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, cumin powder, lemon juice)to marinate .

2. Add little water and make a paste

3. Now marinate the fish pieces to the marinade and mix well

4. Rest for 3-4 hours

5. Heat a oil in a pan for deep fry

6. Fry the fish pieces in medium flame until crispy


Serve the fish fry with fish kulambhu or rasam!
