In Singapengalin Samaiyal , We have shown you how to prepare easy naatukozhi pepper varuval
at home.
Ingredients
Country chicken/Naatukozhi-500 gms
Onion-1
Tomato-1
Red Chilli powder- 1 tsp
Coriander powder- 1 tsp
salt to taste
Water
Onion- 2 or 3 sliced
curry leaves-few
Red Chilli powder-1 tsp
Pepper-1/4 cup
Method:
1. Heat a pressure pan and add naatukozhi , along with onion,coriander powder , chilli powder, tomato and salt.
2. Add water and close the pan and leave it for 8 or 9 whistles.
3. Open the pressure pan once the steam is released and drain the water separately.
4. Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds and allow it to splutter.
5. Once mustard seeds splutter, add curry leaves.
6. Add onion and saute for few seconds.
7. Add half of the pepper powder now.
8. Saute well and add the naatukozhi , saute well and add the remaining pepper powder, red chilli powder.
9. Add the drained water and leave it to boil for 10 - 15 mins .
10. Garnish with coriander leaves.
