Ingredients:
Sago/Sabhudhana/Javvarisi- 1 cup
Rava- 1 cup
Curd/Buttermilk- 2 cups
Steps to prepare:
1. Wash Sabhudhana twice to remove dirt.
2. Transfer the washed sabhudhana to a bowl.
3. Add rava, curd and mix well.
4. Mix the ingredients without any lumps.
5. Rest the batter for 8 hours or overnight.
6. After the resting time, add baking soda, salt, carrot, coriander leaves and mix well.
7. Add little water and mix till the batter reaches idly batter consistency.
8. Grease the idly plates with oil.
9. Pour the batter to the idly plate
10. Steam the idly for 10 mins .
11. To check if the idly is cooked well, insert a tooth pick into the idly and the tooth pick
should come out clean.
Serve the Sabhudhana Idly with Coconut chutney/Tomato chutney!.
